This painting is based on a Hopi proverb. This symbol can be found on rocks throughout the southwestern United States. It depicts the cycle of life from emergence to death, and rebirth. I wear a bracelet with this symbol to remind me to stay on my path. The Hopi or a native American people living in northern Arizona.
